This is a seiji kyūsū (unglazed ceramic teapot) from the Seimei Kiln in Tokoname. It has been fired at 1200 degrees Celsius using the yakishime (unglazed pottery) technique.
The stainless steel tea strainer is attached to the spout side, featuring a design that reduces clogging. This ensures worry-free usage even with fine tea leaves.
