This is a seiji kyūsū (unglazed ceramic teapot) from the Seimei Kiln in Tokoname. It has been fired at Inside the teapot, there is a stainless steel mesh. Compared to other meshes, it is less likely to clog, making it suitable for various types of tea leaves, including deep-steamed tea. The stainless steel mesh is installed using its elasticity, so please avoid pressing too hard or washing vigorously when cleaning. Pay special attention to the joints of the mesh. We recommend soaking in household cleaning detergent for washing.
